#81: Spirit of the Fear of the Lord

My Shadow Casts the Glory of God

Theme Scripture:

The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. (Acts 5:12-15 NIV)

My Father owns the cattle of a thousand hills, the gold in the ground and the wealth of the seas (Ps: 50:9-12). In Christ Jesus I am born into my Father’s inheritance. And when I am in need, or in whatsoever I may desire, so shall I receive (John 16:24, Ps. 37:4, John 15:7). This revelation is given by the Spirit as you abide in Him. Christ Jesus came into this world of trial and tribulation, He left Glory in order to make way for me to walk in His very same Glory. And as I was knitted in my mother’s womb (Ps. 139:13), so am I knitted in the Holy Ghost and in the ways and function of the Spirit of the Lord. My Saviour has birthed me into the Family of God, and by the Spirit breathed Life and Immortality in me (2 Tim. 1:10). I am not born of this earth any more than my Saviour (John 17:16), so I prefer to continually sit here at His feet rather than being drawn off by what I see and hear. Not only is the wealth of the world mine (Matt. 5:5), but so too is all of Heaven … this gifted all who believe.

Right back since the Fall, man has grieved the Spirit of the Lord. But then there was a man whose name was Enoch of whom chose to walk with God (Gen. 5:21-24). And God was so delighted in him that He brought him up to be with Him. Man is different to the angels, for each one of us have capacity of infinite growth into the infinite Image and Likeness of God. Being transformed from one level of Glory to another (2 Cor. 3:18). In this precedence come then also to desire to treasure the Father and walk with Him. Choosing to look through all the realities before you unto the very Face of God. Desiring not to turn your heart unto other things, but to delight yourself in the Lord and here being continually ‘found not‘. And it is here, in Him, that one is taught and shown the Heart of the Father. And as it is written, “the people knew the deeds of God but Moses knew His Heart” (Ps. 103:7).

In Jesus’ time there was a lady by the name of Martha, who was busy and concerned about many things. Honourable things regarding daily needs, about helping and providing, and about busying herself in the work of the Kingdom. But then there was her sister Mary, of whom was so drawn to the gracious Words of our Saviour. And she sat in earnest at the feet of Jesus delighting to hear every Word that came from His mouth. And in compassion and care Jesus responded to Martha saying, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed – or indeed only one – and Mary has chosen what is better and it won’t be taken from her” (Luke 10:38-42).

We all need the whispers of the Holy Ghost speaking continuously into our soul and thought-life.

The greatest thing one can do, if not the only one, is to sit at the feet of Jesus. There are many needs and responsibilities in this life, but if we truly seek Divine Counsel and the Power of God present then we need to sit ourselves in the Presence of God. Often times it is far better to ‘fast’ needs and responsibilities and make specific time to simply love on the Lord and sit at His feet (Luke 5:16). For there is nothing more precious than the continual whispers of Jesus – our Saviour – speaking in your soul and thought-life.

Where do you think the Anointing comes from? Where do you think Strength and Understanding? And where does Wisdom and Capacity flow? I tell you if you really want to be effective in your world of needs and responsibilities; then let your Source be fully rooted in Him. To be endowed with something that is greater than yourself is so much better for you and for those within your care. What we need, and what our world of need needs, is the active and dynamic Spirit of God. Hence the encouragement always is the same: give honoured and grateful place for the Lord and in such He will come. Reject the Scoffer’s voice and embrace the Word of God.

Two Scriptures:

He who has an ear let him hear. (Matthew 11:15)

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Revelation 2:29)

Jesus is speaking to you today, to we who have ears that hear. Se be one who learns to listen with the ears given you; to that of which the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Avail yourself able to see and hear.

First there was the prophet Elijah; and then there was his eager and willing servant Elisha, of whom was granted twice his Anointing. But after Elisha was there anyone else willing, anyone at all? Understand that if you were to desire to climb to the top of a mountain then you would prepare and ready yourself. Or if you dreamed to be an astronaut and walk in space, then in your set vision so too would you earnestly prepare and work to make yourself ready (Is. 40:3). But if your vision remained small then so too your outlook in life. However, if you would allow the Lord to speak into your life – then He would vastly increase your vision. Listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

How can I step into these things if my heart is continually drawn away? I know what happens, my ears and my eyes become calloused, and my heart falls back into despair and dissipation. But I have had enough of that!

If your heart is to do the will of man, then do the will of man. If your heart is to do according to what you see and hear, then do according to what you see and hear. But, if your heart is to do Jesus’ Will – then sit at His feet (Rev. 22:11). Take the time to sit at Jesus’ feet right in the Presence of the Lord. This is a step of faith, but as you make this the culture of your heart; Jesus will respond in kind and guide you in all your goings. So now – in your preparedness – so shall you go! Doors are opened for the willing and for those who prepare and make themselves ready. So in setting your vision High in Him so shall the vast Doors of God be opened to you. And in the same way as Elijah commanded the Glory of God on this earth, and so too his servant Elisha, so also shall you continue where they left off – and this greatly magnified in Christ Jesus! As Jesus says, “to the one who is victorious and does my Will to the end, I will give authority over the nations … just as I have received authority from my Father.” (Rev. 2:26‐29).

This walk in the Lord is not a focus on what I want or what I believe, but a deep yearning for the Dreams of the Father alive in me. God is a fulfiller of dreams, hence He blesses us in all our ways. But to truly walk in the Glory of God, one needs come to dream the Father’s Dreams.

I personally have a dream: and that is to come under the Shadow of the Lord God Almighty, and abide here, whereby my shadow casts His Glory. My Father sent Christ Jesus to this world of grief and sorrow, to die on the Cross making the way open for me to freely walk in His Glory. In this I shall not deny the Dream of my Father but step further in. God laid precedence for me to follow, even demonstrated in the lives of all the accounts recorded in Scripture. Everything is mine, everything is ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ (2 Cor. 1:20). So to delight in the Fear of the Lord is a preference to abide in the Lord; in absoluteness and in completion. Not to come under the sentiment of man, nor the voice of ridicule (Num. 14:11), but unto the Heart of the Father. It is here that I am fully surrounded by the Counsel, the Power, and the Might of my God.

To Fear the Lord is to Fear Him more than any other fear, hence I am made fully free of fear, for God is with me. Now all things, regardless of where they come from, are subject to the Glory and the Fear of the Spirit of the Lord in me. The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom, so too is it the anchor and the abiding fully in Him (Jam. 1:6-7). My Saviour remains the consuming vision of my soul. Not to do my will with the expectation that God follows, but to do His Will whereby I follow Him – Christ Jesus being all that I see (Phil. 3:7-8). And who are these that ride on the clouds (Is. 60:8), and they that are like the wind (John 3:8, Gal. 5:22-23)? They of whom delight in the Fear of the Lord.

The Fear of the Lord is a gravitation, a preference, to come under God rather than come under circumstances presented. It is the ‘Shadow’ – even the dark cloud of the Glory of God that Moses walked into (Ex. 20:21, Heb. 12:21). The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord is the foundation and basis for all the other Spirits of Counsel and Might. For otherwise you remain as like a loose cannon, fickle in the things that you see, and easily drawn off by the lures and cunning of the Enemy. If you really wish to walk on Higher planes of Glory, then one needs choose to come under the Shadow of the Almighty. And in Him gaining crisp ears and sharp eyes … and sure feet.

One can live with the simple vision that God blesses. But that is not the only vision God has for you. That is a minuscule vision, for life on this earth is short and as like the dust. However, God’s vision for you expands Eternity and is purposed for the Eternal Glory of God to come rest upon your life. To he who has an ear … let him hear what the Spirit is saying!

Do you realise that it is possible that one can walk in a ‘faith’ and a ‘boldness’ in God; but there be nothing about them that is submitted to the Lord? One can have great scriptural knowledge regarding grace and faith, and hold deep belief in them, but yet there be nothing about them that is humbled or attentive to their Lord? To be truthful, this is more akin to ‘witchcraft’. For to walk in Christ Jesus is not through a stubbornness of heart, but a deep union held and nurtured in Him. Simon the Sorcerer sought to buy the Power of the Spirit, but these things cannot be bought but are freely gifted of God … given even to a little child. Hence the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord is an exceedingly great asset for each one of us, for here you abide right within the Glory Cloud. And in Him all that you are emanates the same Glory. Truly the most valuable reality one can achieve is to be one who knows Jesus and of whom is known in Him.

Two Scriptures:

Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (Matthew 7:23 NIV)

Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king. (1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV)

The Grace of God is an amazing thing, but it does not preclude one’s capacity to grieve the Spirit (Eph. 4:30, 1 Thes. 5:19). Though you may be forgiven for wrong doing, and the Door is still wide open, but if one has grieved the Spirit will He so quickly open His Heart again? Such is the treasure of being like Mary, who delighted to sit at the feet of Jesus. You have experienced grief, so where is there avenue to begin to open up the deep thoughts of your heart again? In saying that, humility and meekness is a great asset to you, even the ability to seek the Face of God the greatest gift given. It is here in this place that God continually speaks into you of His hidden, secret, and private Thoughts (the heart chatter). And He begins to reveal His Heart, and open Himself up wide to you who are willing

Just as a friend may have grieved you, one can grieve the Spirit of the Lord. And though forgiveness is right there, where is the capacity to start to share the inner thoughts or the plans of your soul again? Trust is earned and built up through care over time, therefore give the Lord your time, and go sit under a tree somewhere in a way that God knows you are waiting for Him. Honour the Lord with your time. Dream to know His Thoughts, and when God is ready He will speak to you – even unceasingly and in ways beyond measure. God is a person, so as you personally come to Him as a friend – He confides in you (John 15:15). And to such who choose to build a closeness of relationship and trust in Him, does God continually speak and reveal of Himself. To this there is no greater treasure! In this matter what is said in Scripture? “Jesus knew the heart of man and would not reveal or entrust Himself to them” (John 2:24).

I tell you something, sometimes the Enemy comes in such a way as to cause a serious mess. But in the Lord, God turns that of which was plotted against you into another step of Wonder for in Him is the Spirit of Restoration. In Christ Jesus we know that even if we have caused the Spirit grief, there is place for increased and greater depths of bonds and closeness of relationship to be birthed. Such is the Grace of God.

A person’s vision can be continually drawn off to problems and difficulties, or on the other side continually drawn off to the pursuit of wealth and possessions. But in either case where is the balance or their root in the Lord? How God desires to raise you up as a king, with exceedingly great Authority of sonship in Him – even the ‘Morning Star’. But it is only through a willing heart that one is able to live fully submitted in the Lord. Not through a ‘stubbornness’ of heart but tender unto the Lord. Therefore, be no longer drawn off by problems, for just as in all miracles problems inherently exist. The answer is always the same: love on the Lord with all your heart. For even right in their midst, he of whom lays attentive to His Voice and to see His Face – continually receives! Troubles come from the Enemy, yes, but sometimes it is the Lord who needs to know where your love truly is (Deut. 8:2, 13:1-3). And right within these troubles train you whereby your love may be deeper rooted and anchored in His Love.

Hence trials and tribulation are a joy! For if you chose to not come under them, but chose to look up beyond them all, then truly you are strengthened and fastened as a ‘nail’ in a sure place; a glorious throne in the Presence of the Lord. (Is. 22:23). Practice, therefore, to look through all things unto the Presence of the Lord, and allow Him to continually lift you up. Your Heavenly Father is purposed to raise you capable to tear down mountains and beat them small, and to make the hills as chaff that is blown away in the wind (Is. 41:15). Such is the Power of your sonship in Him.

Religion seeks to set you on the treadmill of works and law; to perform and produce. But our Saviour desires to reveal to you the very Heart of the Father and for you to carry the Glory of God wherever you go – planting Heaven on earth.

The awe and fear that was in Jerusalem for the people of the Way was sufficient for the people to ‘dare not join’ them. However, God added to their numbers daily (Acts 2:47). And this same Fire spread across the whole known world. Our Resurrected Saviour states to us this day (paraphrased), “if you can be victorious in this area of retaining the Lord as your first love, then I will set in your midst the Lampstand of the ‘blazing’ Counsel and Might of God. And cause you able to eat liberally of the Tree of Life that is in the Paradise of Heaven” (Rev. 2:4-7).

A curious question: at first Peter (on the way to the Temple) reached out his hand to the cripple and said, “such as I have give I thee, in the Name of Jesus walk” (Acts 3:6). Later, as he was known to walk to the Temple, people laid out the sick on the streets in hope that at least his shadow may pass over them. The question is, why didn’t Peter stop and pray for each one of them? Why didn’t he respond to the needs that were clearly everywhere before him? The reason why was that his heart and soul was deeply drawn to sit at the feet of Jesus.

Scripture:

Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:15-16 NIV)

Just as Jesus, Peter did not always respond to the needs that he saw with His eyes or heard with His ears, but delighted and laid attentive to what he heard and what he saw in the Father – hence the Glory of the Lord rested upon him (Is. 11:3-4). For to come to Jesus is to come under His Authority and His Ways, this is the underlying calling of the Cross. There is a right way going about things, and here such Authority rested upon the people of the Way that all Jerusalem ‘dared not join them, even though they were so highly regarded’.

But be not offended by Peter, for he gave up his life for the Gospel and was crucified in his service to the Lord. Instead, come shift your thinking and your vision to the Heart of the Father, and not the sentiment of man. The answer is not in what you see and hear but in He of whom you abide. The Salvation message has always been about submitting yourself unto the Lord and coming to Him with your whole heart. There being a greater prayer of soul needed: a prayer for a deeper union in Him, a closer heart, and tighter bonds. Our walk in God is not law based but deeply relational, deeply love based, and in coming under His Authority so too shall you behold and carry His Authority – the same that was in the life of Jesus. What is more, we serve a triumphant Jesus, so in us is the inherent capacity to do even greater works than He – and this mandated of the Lord (John 14:12).

The underlying message of God has always been to come under His Authority. There is the right way of going about things … this for the new and old alike. But as a result, the Authority of God is placed in your hands – even power over the nations.

There were many at the pool of Bethesda, but Jesus lifted up just one man. The Spirit drew Him to a single cripple of whom Jesus said, “take up your mat and walk”. But later crowds surrounded Him in the hope just to touch his garment that they might be healed. Come understand the Love of God – the first that is given to Him. We needs walk according to the Spirit in the deepest union in the Father, and through your deepest of relationship in Him so shall you make Him known (John 1:18). There is a right way for us and the people we minister to; the submitting of one’s life first and foremost unto the Lord. One carries the Glory of God as one comes under His Shadow, and here your own shadow casts the Glory and Power of God. Does this make any sense? To he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying.

My friend David Hogan, who has mentored me greatly in the things of God, spoke of an account in his earlier years where the Power of God was so evident throughout a particular church service. And here he was given a deaf little child. But regardless of how much he prayed and cried out on her behalf, she was not healed. Right in the midst of all the miracles flowing around him, David sobbed with tears, crying out to God “why isn’t this innocent little girl healed?”

God responded and came and showed David a clear vision, as ‘clear as a Panavision movie screen’. In this vision, there was a powerful bull set in a lush green field, where it snorted and stomped its feet. And then there was a little present set before the bull, but despite all its great strength and zeal the bull could not untie the bow nor open the present. But then there came a little child, a little toddler, of whom was not capable of anything but slobber. But in the slightest of care, this little child just enjoyed opening the present. And God clearly said to David, “unless you become as a little child you shall by no means enter the Kingdom of God.” And David said to the Lord, “make me this little child or I’ll preach no longer” … and he continues, “I am working on this to this very day.”

Do you recognise yet what we are discussing? It is not about us, it is not about what we think, or what we think we know … that is all irrelevant. But it is about approaching the Father as a little child and delighting in Him, and here enjoy the opening of many presents. This is why Peter was always making a beeline for the Temple, for he deeply valued loving on the Lord and sitting at His feet. Do you recall how Jesus quite often exclaimed to His Disciples, “oh you of little faith?” For faith never had its origins in man but has always been gifted of the Spirit. Faith is not of man, and nor is it in the capacity or vision of man, but has always been of the Spirit (to this even your very Salvation came through the drawing of the Spirit). Mankind struggles enough with pride, that is why Paul desired not to ‘speak with persuasive words but with a clear demonstration of God’s Power’ (1 Cor. 2:4). For in our ‘weakness God is made strong in us’ (2 Cor. 12:9-11). And so, as you decide in yourself to come under the Counsel of the Lord so shall you know Him and so shall you speak (Jer. 23:22).

Before you heard and saw of only trinkets of the Knowledge, the Understanding, and the Power of God. But now all of Heaven is made open and clear before your eyes. And now the Spirit of the Lord stands in your midst and surrounds you in great measure, and here the Glory of the Lord strikes the land. Before you had only trinkets of the Wisdom of God speaking in your heart and thought-life, but now your Saviour introduces you to the very Person of the Spirit of Wisdom, even the Person of the Spirit of Might. Prefer then to remain here in their Counsel and so shall you walk as one of whom hears and sees, and in the same speak and usher forth the moves of the Hand of God.

The splendour of knowing that I am in the Father and He is in me. And as I dwell here on earth I am no longer a mortal man. Though made a little lower than the angels, I have been raised in such honour in Him (Heb. 2:7-8). I no longer think small, I choose not to think according to the thoughts of man, but according to the Thoughts of God. And as I walk this earth, God is in me as I am in Him. This means that God is right here walking this town. So as I retain union in Him, He is in me and I in Him; even am I captured up in Him. And when I speak, my words carry weight for they are of the Spirit of God (Rom. 8:26). Therefore, I choose to no longer live according to what I hear and see, but according to what I see and hear in the Father … this opportunity presented all who believe

Scripture:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-19)

Bitterness causes disunion in the Father as one is consumed by it. But as one chooses to look to the Lord and is healed, their union in the Father is greatly enhanced. Grief draws you off and so does despair, but as one chooses to seek the Presence of God healing enters your soul and your flesh. And as you go out the blessing of the Lord is left in your wake. Events occur in this life and you can either come under them and even be destroyed by them; or otherwise, you can choose to continue to delight yourself in the Lord and in Him be raised and strengthened and even have all things restored. The Lord has a nature about Him, He turns your greatest frailties into your greatest strengths. He turns that of which was meant to cause you harm into steps of greatness, launching you off in great deeds and wonders. He causes you to bloom in the midst of the mud and flourish in the midst of hardship (Ps. 23:5, Rom. 8:28). Such is the treasure of thankfulness and praise, and the seeking of the Face of God, for His Anointing rests upon such as they.

Again I ask, why didn’t Peter stop to pray for everyone who was laid along the way, they of whom were laid down in hope that his shadow may fall upon them? For his heart was drawn to the secret place, to the feet of Jesus, and to sit in His Presence. It was here in his Saviour that his heart dwelled, and that is why his countenance carried the Glory of God.

In continuation from the previous chapter …

Part 3. Revelation 2 and 3

THE LAMPSTAND SET IN YOUR MIDST

Scripture:

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them (in the Exodus account); but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ (Hebrews 4:1-3 NKJV)

The warnings of our Saviour in the book of Revelation chapter two and three are very real, just as the same as their revealed layers of Wonders. In mirror of the Exodus story, our walk in Christ Jesus is exactly the same. God has a ‘Promised Land’ in the Heavenly realms for you to operate and function from … these that are in ‘Heavenly Places’ (Eph. 2:6). And in order to truly function and participate in these Places, just believing in the Name of Jesus is not enough. For if we truly want consistent answer to prayer, then we must learn to yield and come under the Authority of God (Matt. 8:5-13).

Just as in the Exodus story, one’s heart and thought-life can still be so drawn back to Egypt. So what each of us need (daily) is the continual meeting with God on Mt. Sinai. This was always the first and primary calling expressed in the Exodus story, not the Promised Land but the meeting with the Person of God – the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Though the people of Israel were baptised in water, as they pass through the Red Sea, their hearts were not set to relationship; that is, to hear and see God themselves – eyes and ears attentive to the Spirit (Ex. 20:19). But instead, they set themselves to the scoffers and to the unbelieving, and not in their heart unto the Word of God (Ex. 19:9). That was their greatest downfall.

As believers today, we also can be so unanchored: our thought-life continually drawn to the past, to the dreams of the future, or to the seeking of the opinion of others. But so few respond to the Endearing Love of God, to inquire of Him in His Temple (Ps. 27:4). And because of their unbelief, they unnecessarily wandered endlessly in the Wilderness of unbelief – just as the many do today – never seeing the Promises of God.

People want answer to prayer, but hardly anyone desires or wants to know the Heart of the Father.

The first and primary feature of the Exodus story has always been the meeting of the Lord of Glory, not the Promises but the meeting of the very Person of God. It is here in Him that one is led through the Wilderness and swiftly cross right over into the Promised Land. This is what the church needs today and of which is called to. But it is because of the stubbornness of heart that one is always drawn back to other things, that is why the people wandered endlessly in the Wilderness. Such is the same in the Christian church today – but this has never been God’s plan, nor His desire for you.

First there is the baptism of water, then the baptism of the Spirit of God, but be now led by the Presence of the Lord into the Baptism of the Power and Fire of the Spirit.

As you choose to be a people held close in the Heart of God; so too are you led. Led swiftly in the things of the Lord. And as God parts the waters and you cross through the river Jordan, so too are you baptised in the Spirit’s Power. Therefore, come seek the Presence of God as the very root drive of your soul, for the Power of God is found in the secret place and where you are taken in Him. If you truly are able to approach the Lord and seek His Face first – in all things – even under great responsibilities and duties, God will know He is your first love. And here can you be entrusted with the Lampstand set in your midst and be one continually fed of the Tree of Life that is in the Paradise of God.

Continue to choose to come under the Authority of God, and so shall you be given Authority. If you want consistent answer to prayer then you have to come under the Authority of God (this is the basis of the Gospel). You can’t just continue to do whatever you want and expect God to follow, for one needs to abide in His Love. God is not a puppy dog on a leash – He is Fire! So be no longer one who abides in your needs, nor in your dreams and desires – even if they are given you of God – but abide in His Love (John 15:9). The believer is typically ruled by either needs or by desires, but who truly is ruled by the Love of God? A believer’s heart is continually drawn off to fears and trepidation, or otherwise drawn off to desires and wants, but where is their root? Where is their balance? Christ Jesus abided in the Love of God, not in what He saw or heard.

If you want to walk into the Glory Cloud; you need first become one held in the cleft of the Hand of the Father.

The deeper that you can enter the Love of God and abide in His Rest so too shall you draw. The tighter you bond yourself in the Love of God so are you able also to be raised victorious, opening the way for the Spirit of the Lord to break forth. You are the connection between Heaven and earth, and God will step through you. Up until now you have only experienced trinkets of the Power of God, even just trinkets of His Vision, but your continual pressing into God explodes the Glory and Revival come.

To have the Lampstand placed in your midst; is to gain vastly greater interaction in the Wonder of the Person of the Spirit of Might – and this for all the generations. The physical standing of the Person of the Spirit of Wisdom in your midst, even the Person of the Fear of the Lord that triggers spontaneous Salvation: spot fires of God flaring up all over town. As one is victorious in the area of their first love, so too is one raised and fed, engaging continually within the Spirit of the Lord.

Faith has its root in the Spirit of God, not in man, but is through Spirit-connection; one’s capacity to hear and see the Lord.

You are not expected to be victorious through your own fleshly zeal or capacity, but in the Love of God the Spirit of the Lord raises, tutors, and trains you. Such is the Joy of the Lord, and by the same Spirit are you raised victorious. This is why Jesus was became frustrated with His disciples saying, ‘you unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I put up with you’ (Matt. 17:17-20)? Because faith has always been an issue of Spirit-connection; one’s capacity to hear and see the Lord. It has nothing to do with your earthly capacity but your delight in the Fear of the Lord.

You have heard of the Spirit of Wisdom and the Spirit of Knowledge, but have you met them in Person? Have you ever stepped into Understanding? You have heard of the Power and Might of the Spirit but have you met the Person of the Spirit of Might? It is one thing to have been told of the Spirit of Counsel, and even receive from His Counsel, but what happens when you step into Him? Who are you then when you step into the Person of the Spirit of Might? If the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord stepped down in our midst, then the whole city would fall to their knees and run to the local church crying out, “lead me now to Christ Jesus!” You have no idea of the Power of the Secret Place: first it is the Lord, and then it is He who comes and steps through you into your world.

Many will not realise the work that was done to lead them to where they are now. For such an Anointing shall come upon the children of God (in this generation) as the Spirit of the Lord is outpoured on ‘all flesh’.

Do you know that you can be a people where the whispers of God constantly speaks in your soul? Not your mind speaking but the Mind of God imparting of Himself. I so encourage you to look past all the trees of opposition, distraction, and hardships that come – unto the Tree of Life that is in the Paradise of God. Retaining the Lord always as your first and all-consuming love. For as you seek first the Kingdom of God so too will it be He who takes care of everything else and blesses the land (Matt. 6:33, Ps. 85:12). Even through the hardship that comes so shall you be sharpened, now you can rise up tall with the Sword of the Spirit. Be then refreshed and renewed in the Lord.

I don’t know if there is much else to be said in this chapter. But if you were to read these two chapters in the Book of Revelation you would notice things that are far beyond compare. God desires to raise you up in Glory, therefore, be willing and seek His Face.

Ponder these Words of our Saviour:

  • I will restore and set the Lampstand back in your midst.
  • “I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”
  • “I will set upon you the Crown of Life.”
  • “I will give some of the hidden Manna to eat.”
  • “I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”
  • “I will give power over the nations – ‘he shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’ – as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star.”
  • “He shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”
  • “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world.”
  • I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God.”
  • I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.”
  • “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Closing Scripture:

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:15-21 NKIV)

I do hope, that as you have journeyed with me, that you have been encouraged by the words expressed in this book. If you can truly allow yourself to come under the Lord’s training so shall you be raised one truly victorious. Becoming a powerful and Anointed people of God. In this diligence, in this Dream of the Lord’s retained, your Saviour will continually come through your opened door, and sit together with you, sharing of Himself; giving you precious things from Heaven. He preparing even great meals of Wonder as you break bread together. And in Him so shall you be raised in such honour, seated on His Throne with Him at the very right hand of God, co-labouring with Him in the planting of Heaven on earth. Be no longer small in your vision, but allow the Lord to lift your eyes unto the Dreams and Heart of the Father.

Closing prayer. The words collected in these chapters are my living and spoken prayers. I have worn my heart bear upon my sleeve as I have shared them. So instead of closing with a prayer, perhaps you can bow down on your knees and offer to the Lord your own heart’s prayer … even through the groans of the Spirit within.

May Heaven be Planted on earth! Bless you in Jesus Name, amen …
