#71: Planting Heaven
In the Spirit

The power of the will and dominion of man: what your heart focuses on magnifies, to where your heart is so are you. If your heart is in the Lord, you will be caught up in Him, and the Lord of Glory will come and stand in place of you. Sometimes the Tree of Life gets lost in the forest, so your heart magnifying the Lord, it will be He who becomes clear in your eyes.

Scripture:

The Spirit swept me high in the air and carried me in visions of God. (Ezekiel 8:3 MSG)

Come now and set your thoughts and affections high in the Lord (Col. 3:2-3), and right where you are seek His Face again (Ps. 27:8). Turn your heart unto the Lord and simply love Him (2 Thes. 3:5), for Intimacy and tenderness is the place of Transference, Impartation, Anointing, and Translation (Luke 17:21). Play some music and ascend your heart up right behind the Curtain, into the High Place that is above the High Places (Col. 3:2, Heb. 6:19). And here enjoy the Bliss of the Lord your God (Ex. 33:14, Ps. 16:11), shaking off the issues of this life (Mark 4:19) and be snatched up again in Him (2 Cor. 12:2-4).

Theme Scripture:

I was in the Spirit [rapt in His power] on the Lord’s Day. (Revelation 1:10 AMPC)

John, who was discarded on the Island of Patmos; was still capable of stepping into Joy inexpressible and this regardless of location. For the Spring of the Water of Life (John 4:14) within you is the Portal of Eternity; the Gateway and the Ladder into Heaven and Heavenly Delights. It is the Heart and Purpose of the Father that you never leave this place, but abide continually here ‘in the Spirit’  (Rev. 1:10, 4:2), drawing of the Lord. This is where Jesus abided as He too walked this earth, therefore Immortality (2 Tim. 1:10) rested in Him, and it is here that He always heard our Heavenly Father’s Voice and saw His Face (John 5:19, 37), and was ministered to by Angels. This is the Way of the Anointed.

Scripture

But now bring me a harpist. While the harpist was playing, the hand of the LORD came on Elisha. (2 Kings 3:15)

In this account of Elisha, when he turned his heart unto the Father the Hand of the Lord came upon Him. You see the turning of your affections, the setting of your heart and thoughts in the Lord, one has the capacity to be lifted up and carried in the Spirit, even into the High Places or the many Heavenly places presented you (Eph. 2:6). Paul speaks of it in Colossians; set your heart and your thoughts into the Higher Highs, even the Throne room where Jesus sits at the right hand of God, for where your heart is so shall you be (Matt. 6:21).

Scripture:

On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine– the best of meats and the finest of wines. (Isaiah 25:6 NIV)

There is the Bliss found in the Presence of God, but then there are the Places that the Spirit takes you, that is beyond. In this account of John, in the book of Revelations; here he was ‘in the Spirit’, wrapped in the Presence of God, and then Jesus suddenly appeared. Here, from this place, Jesus took him up into the High Place above the High Places. This is also pictured in the Temple of God; the Holy Place, the place of praise, and then being captured (snatched, stolen, caught) up into the Holy of Holies. Psalms also speaks of it as, ‘ascend the mountain of the LORD, and then, stand in His Holy Place’ (Ps. 24:3). Then we have Isaiah also speaking of it as, the ‘Mountain of the Lord’s House’ that is ‘set above the mountains’ (Is. 2:2). So the continual encouragement always is, become in likeness of Elijah (Luke 1:17) and seek the High Places of God as your root drive. But, let also your vision and expectation always be to the Places where the Lord desires to take you.

The Keys have been presented you so take them. Be not barren of the Anointing of God, for in this you hold Power and Authority to make real change.

See this Place, see where it is that you are; the Lord has formed you into a Kingdom, a ‘royal race. So set your heart here, far above the cares of this world, far above the brokenness of your past and the world of which you were from. For you are birthed of a New Beginning, a totally New Being unique in all creation; born both of this world and of the World to come … born of the New Jerusalem.

Do you not yet see that you bridge both Heaven and earth, that full dominion has been returned back to you, even having influence in Heaven (Matt. 18:18)? Therefore, it is to you of whom God responds, for God does nothing without first declaring it to His prophets (Amos 3:7). And why is this, because dominion of the planet is held in the hands of the Children of God – this is the realm of God’s Anointed.

Prophets tell you what God is saying, but a Child changes even the Heart of the Father, and the Legislation in Heaven.

Scripture:

The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord. (Ezekiel 37:1 NIV)

So as you enter the Presence of the Lord, enjoy the Table presented here before you (Ps 23:5). Deeply honour the Lord by simply becoming one willing to ‘recline’ in His Presence (Luke 12:37), reclining on His Bosom (John 13:23), and this regardless of your past or the disappointments of your ways. Come embrace the full redemption of your soul, and drink deeply of His Blood and eat richly of His Flesh. So here, be at ease (Is. 30:15), be at Rest in the Presence of your Lord (Heb. 4:3), for He deeply desires to dress Himself to serve and wait upon you. He has prepared you a Meal, and Wine ready to overflow your cup (Is. 25:6-8).

Scripture

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. (Luke 12:37)

What Jesus has done for you, on the Cross, is only but the beginning of what God desires to do for you. But we needs learn to become a people who know how to truly receive, a people who have their mouth open. Jesus is the Door, but the Door to what? He is the Door to the beyond that is in the Father and the Heavenly Places. Become then, one willing to receive from the Lord, even a people who are hungry to receive and able to receive all the more. As you learn how to freely receive, you then become one more able to freely give, not only so but are then able to instruct others how to receive for themselves. Jesus speaks of ‘healing the sick and raising the dead’ … ‘Freely you have received, so freely give’ (Matt. 10:8), but how do you do that if you don’t know really how to receive?

The picture of a little baby at the breast of his mother, is the right picture in the Lord. At complete Rest, drawing deeply of the Goodness and Essence of the Father, in a place of absolute Bliss (Song of Solomon 5:1).

A collection of Scripture by Red Letter Ministries:

The Gospel: “the glad-message of the glory, of the happy God.” (1 Timothy 1:11 Emphasized Bible)

I am like a drunken man, like a man overcome by wine, because of the LORD and his holy words. (Jeremiah 23:9 NIV)

You prepared a table before me over against those that afflict me; you anointed my head with oil, and your cup was supremely intoxicating. (Psalm 23:5 Septuagint Translation)

They will be intoxicated with the fatness of your house, and you will give them drink from the wadi of your delights, because with you is life’s fountain; in your light we shall see light.” (Psalm 36:8-9 Septuagint Translation)

[Said of Israel] “If you would only listen to my orders, you would have bliss brimming like a river. (Isaiah 48:18 James Moffat Translation)

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows grace and favor and glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 AMP)

I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in an ecstasy I saw a vision … As I was praying in the temple, that I became in ecstasy …” (Acts 11:5, 22:17 AMP)

I know a man who, fourteen years ago, was seized by Christ and swept in ecstasy to the heights of heaven. (2 Corinthians 12:2 AMP)

When you gain a true revelation of how much the Lord wishes to pour into you, you will learn what it is to receive; even the Bliss, the Wonder, and the exceedingly great and overwhelming Joy. And from this Salvation, you will draw unto your world.

Learn to be one able to receive: if you can’t learn to enter into the full Rest of the Lord, how can you ever receive liberally? If you can’t live in the Bliss of the Presence of the Lord, how can you live under His Anointing, for Joy unspeakable is who He is (1 Peter 1:8)? How can you have faith that moves mountains, for this is the work of Children not the work of the self-sufficient?

It is through the dining in your Lord that you are able to be built up in Him, that great strength of the Lord can come upon you, even becoming ‘intoxicated’ by His Wine … your cup overflowing. It is the milk of Heaven, from the ‘breast’ of God, that causes you to grow exponentially. Oh the Glory in the Lord. The very Fullness of God, the Richness and the Cream, even the very Essence of who He is, being poured into your spirit, your soul, your mind, and your flesh.

Scripture:

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

This is why love and affection is so important, your whole heart, for these things have nothing to do with your adherence to law, nor does your presentation of works and deeds. For it is your simple retained love directed towards the Lord that brings you here, and it is in the same tenderness and longing for Him that draws Him nigh; bringing great change.

Scripture:

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it. (Isaiah 30:15 NIV)

In contrast to this Scripture, become a person who “would have all of it”. In the Joy of the Lord fully enter the Rest of God, and in quietness and trust ‘repent’, ie; turn your heart towards your Lord. Now open your mouth and receive from Him. The Lord desires to draw you unto Himself and feed you of His very Person. It is a most intimate Place, a most private Place; the breast revealed in privacy to a treasured Child of the Living God. I tell you that the Love of your God is so intimate and so intently fixed upon you. The Lord simply responds to your own heart’s desire to see Him and to be with Him, and this regardless of your stature as a person.

Repenting is simply turning around and setting your heart in Him. So think not of your sins any longer, think not of you past failings, for in God they have been fully blotted out from His Book of Remembrance (Isaiah 43:25).

There is no greater picture of intimacy and provision but the coming to the breast. To such are taken ‘in the Spirit’ into places untold, what a sweet adventure. Look not to yourself or your sense of unworthiness any longer, but allow the loving embrace of your Heavenly Father to pick you up and raise you up High.

Oh the dreams and places that the Lord desires to take you, right into the splendours of His riches. It is even the least of the Kingdom of Heaven that is purposed to receive and even see far greater than the Greats of Old. Oh let your eyes be lifted up, let your thoughts be set upon High, let your affection be turned to Him and raised up in Him. There is nothing required of you but your whole heart, for it is simply your humble honest inquiry of the Lord your God that draws Him unto you, and He is not far but is right ‘at hand’ (Matt. 3:2)

Two Scriptures:

I was in the Spirit [rapt in His power] on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a great voice like the calling of a war trumpet, saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. (Revelation 1:10 AMPC)

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. (Revelation 4:1-2 NKJV)

Ponder this for a minute … John was already ‘in the Spirit’, rapt in His Power, enjoying the Presence of God, and drinking deeply of the New Wine. Then while He was in this place of wonder and great bliss (at the breast), Jesus suddenly appeared behind Him in His Glory. Then now in chapter four, after addressing the Seven Churches, John was still ‘in the Spirit’ in the heavenlies, but a ‘door was standing open in heaven’. Then here, still in Heaven, Jesus said, “come up here”. So he was taken into a Higher Place ‘in the Spirit’. It’s like, being in the mountains of the Lord, but the Lord then saying, “come up with me” to the ‘Mountain of the Lord’s House that is above the mountains’.

Just as is His dream and prayer for all who wait upon the Lord, and earnestly seek His Person; He desires to show you Himself in His Glory. So as you truly seek the Presence of your Lord, as you turn your heart upwards, His Presence will come so wonderfully and powerfully. But this is not all He has for you … the Presence of God is a stepping stone … for it is to where your Lord desires to take you that is beyond compare. So be encouraged in this, lift your sights up High in the Lord of Glory, and be taken in Him, ‘captured’ in the Spirit.

The physically smallest place in the Temple of God is the Holy of Holies, but it is the most powerful. And it is to where this Place takes you that is Beyond. Come then sing and delight in the Lord your God, and from within the Holy Place turn your heart to Him and wait upon the Lord. In this place, He will take you into the Higher Highs that are high above the High Places.

Where you abide is where you operate from. Jesus often spoke about ‘remain’ and ‘abide’, for this is key. Jesus Himself always was ‘in Heaven’ (John 3:13 NKJV), in the Presence of the Father, He never left; He lived and operated from here in His ministry. So the same place where Jesus abided and operated from, has now been presented you. When you encounter God you are built up in Him, when you encounter God you are strengthened; but part of this treasure is in the preparedness to be taken Higher and to receive of the Greater. Just as the baby at the breast grows stronger; the receiving in the Presence of God also prepares you to become able to carry His Glory all the more.

The worker goes back to his own house, but a son goes back to the Castle.

One born again is of the Spirit, but growth is of the Father of whom you seek (John 15:1). His Purpose is that Glory upon Glory come upon you, and as you are built up in Him, you simply become one able to carry a greater measure of His Glory. Simple! The Enemy comes in resistance against such things, but with your affections set upon the Presence of God, He turns every weakness into great strength. And even the works and schemes of the Enemy become stepping stones of exceedingly escalating growth … every one of them.

God has a way through everything that you face, and in the Bliss that is in Him, He brings great capacity and great change. Jesus has ‘ordained’ each one of us to produce ‘Lasting Fruit’ (John 15:16), this is our base and elementary calling, and how is this done? By feasting and drinking of His Presence. What will then start to happen: ‘you shall receive whatever you ask in prayer’. Oh the Joys of abiding ‘in the Spirit’, living and operating from this Place. Not only the abundant Fruits of Love, Peace, and Joy (Gal. 5:22-23); but to the Heavenly Places that God takes you … what a sweet adventure. So learn to set you affections upon the High Highs … even the New Jerusalem.

Scripture

All who love Jerusalem, be happy and rejoice with her. All who mourn for her, be glad with her. You will nurse and be satisfied from her comforting breasts. You will nurse to your heart’s delight at her full breasts.

This is what the LORD says: I will offer you peace like a river and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream. You will nurse and be carried in Jerusalem’s arms and cuddled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 66:10-13 GWT)

God’s Dream isn’t the wilderness, it isn’t wandering for decades in a barren place, for the ‘New Jerusalem’ is right there for you to enter. God’s Purpose has never been for you to grow only in slow slight incremental steps; but cataclysmically, exponentially, and ever astronomically and miraculously in Abundant Life! From one day to the next a completely new you (Mark 5:15), and this compounded and compounded as you are raised in Him each day. So therefore, in all things set your heart unto the Lord and draw deeply from the Richness that is Him … and enjoy playing in the open fields of the Lord (John 10:9, Mal. 4:2).

The picture of Jesus dressing Himself to serve you is a most important reality for you to grasp and to begin to walk in. The religious and legalistic believer cannot receive this, nor can the one caught up unto works and deeds comprehend; but this is why one must learn to bow to the Gospel, and live according to what Jesus speaks of and not according to human sentiment. Our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus is saying to you something of much importance this day, He is giving you a hint of something much bigger. Our Saviour is showing you a picture of ‘Heavenly things’ (John 3:12) whereby if you can receive this to heart, you will be led into Wonders untold … for you and those in your care.

Scripture:

He formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father – to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen. [Exod. 19:6; Isa. 61:6.]. (Revelation 1:6 AMPC)

Do you see where the Lord’s Heart is toward you, for you to become, live, and operate as a ‘royal race’ unto the Kingdom of our God … as priests and kings (1 Peter 2:9, Rev. 1:6)? You and I – even the very least among people – are raised into realms up High. The proud do not come here, nor the wise and the learned, for they are trapped in their own greatness and vision; never truly just stopping to look up unto the Lord. They miss something most precious and truly wonderful: He who is Himself Life and of whom holds the Universe in His Hands. They fail to comprehend love, not comprehending intimacy or closeness of heart. But if you were to truly come to believe in the Word of God and listen to what Jesus actually says, you would gladly just stop and avail yourself to Him.

Scripture:

Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. (Ezekiel 43:5 NIV)

It is the Way of God to catch you away lifting you up in Him, revealing Himself, and showing you what He is about to do. In Amos, the Lord speaks about how He does nothing without first expressing His intent to His prophets. So it is the Lord’s Purpose and Desire to bring you up to be part of His Council. Be no longer small in your thinking but allow the Lord to lift your vision up. His Ways are so much Higher than our ways, so too is His Thoughts; but guess to where it is that He desires to lead you? Into His Ways and His Thoughts! Therefore, humble yourself and honour Him; honour the Lord by earnestly seeking Him in His Person, and here He will lift you up in Himself.

So be encouraged to come abide in the Place of constant downloads, the continual state of being lifted up, abiding in the place of continual communion and impartation in Him. Set your thoughts upon the Throne of God, the Highest High, this of which is in the High Place far above the Highs. It is to here that the Lord desires to lead you and instruct you from (from His private chambers), as one being groomed in royalty in the Heavens. Become one filled with Heaven’s Thinking, Heaven’s Ways, and Heaven’s Nature … and to the same Anointed. Where you set your sights, where you direct your soul; to what you honour and to what you delight in … is to where you go.

If there was a pool to dig, be no longer a people who use only a spoon from the kitchen, or a shovel from the garage, but use the digger that God provided, ie; the Holy Ghost! God is not proud of your efforts, or your sacrifices, He is only proud of those who actually hear and listen to what He is saying. They of whom, allow themselves to be shaped for great things (Is. 41:15). Religious man lives in a box of his own understanding, and just like Nicodemus has no vision. To such are people contained in a box, and those that come under them become boxes in a box. But the Lord is beyond the contains of man, therefore, preach Christ Jesus, not man.

When the Love of God comes among us, His footprint overshadows all things. In this thought, posture yourself in affection … and receive.

Pray this prayer with me. ‘Lord I pray that these precious words become flesh and real in my life. Thank you Lord for opening my vision to how it is possible to liberally receive all the more. Lord I posture myself to receive, even to abide behind the Curtain in continual dialogue, just the same as you when you lived on earth. Heavenly Father, you paid the price; you provided the Lamb for each one of us to feast. I turn my heart around, and in honour of my King, I set the hunger of my soul in you. In Jesus Name. Amen.’
