Day #29: Spirit Bears Witness
Tent of Meetings

I set my heart, soul, mind and strength in Jesus; to always be with Him. It is Jesus of whom anoints me to preach and to heal, and in His Presence I shall not leave but abide in the ministering Grace of the Lord (Luke 2:40).

The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent (Tent of Meetings, the Tabernacle). (Ex. 33:11)

(Realise this: the least in the Kingdom of God is greater than all who walked before. Therefore, seek an intimacy with the Father whereby He regularly comes and speaks to you face to face, as one speaks to a friend, or a Father to His child. For the more that you personally choose to draw close to Him the more He responds and draws close to you.)

Just as Joshua remained in the Tent of Meetings and did not leave, you are also able to remain in the Meeting Place of the Lord and not leave. In Joshua’s day the Tabernacle was a physical place, but for us now it is spiritual; the Temple of God is within you. This Temple of God within you directed upon the Lord gains you ever deepening access to the ‘Tabernacle’ of which is in Heaven. Being able to abide there and become increasingly known in the Courts of God; as one “highly esteemed” and treasured (Dan. 10:10-12). Is this a weak and insignificant statement? No way! You try going against someone who is anointed of the same Spirit as Joshua. Joshua of whom led the people into all the Promises of God and all Enemies (1 John 3:8) were scattered by the energies, the vitality, and the Glory of the Lord that was upon Him.

This same Spirit was upon Daniel, David, and Elijah; each one of them preferred the Presence and Courts of God more than their daily bread. And God was drawn to them and built each one of them up daily in Himself. The Spirit’s energies came upon them (1 Kings

Allow the Holy Ghost to come and open your eyes (2 Kings 6:17-20). I tell you what, you try going against someone anointed of the Holy Ghost and Power. You try it! Jesus has come to cast a Fire upon the earth and how He wishes it was already KINDLED! That’s your primary, and single-eyed underlying duty and responsibility: in the Presence and Love of God get yourself kindled! Quit fussing over every little thing that the demon is spooking, luring, or scoffing you with; absolve yourself of cares and pride, and finally make your Jesus Lord (Matt. 7:21-23). For He who is King will fill you full of the Holy Ghost and Fire! The demon freaks out at the prospect of you living life free and full of the Holy Spirit and Power. For you try going against such a man or a woman; one who’s soul, mind and flesh is bound to the Heart of the Father. Who is clothed, raised, trained, and armed in the Glory of God.

Strength or capacity has nothing to do with you at all, it is God. It is the Spirit of God of whom you remain fully submitted and subject to. But who are you listening to? Who are you inclining yourself to? You choose!!! Jesus is the answer, it is He of whom died for you, and who IS Resurrected! It is He in Resurrected form, in triumphant form, and in His Glory, of whom desires to meet and be with you. It is He who comes and sits with you as you earnestly wait upon the Lord. It is His Faith, it is His Hope, it is His Love, it is His Strength, and it is His Power. It is His Understanding and Counsel, it is His Might and Fire that comes upon you! Bind yourself to Him in the Love of God. If you want to flounder around in your flesh and own understanding, vision and control, fine, you do that. But as for me and my family, we deeply desire to dig our soul-root into the Branch and allow this statement be true: “the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and He, has anointed me!

You are not a spiritual orphan unless you choose to live like one. Jesus didn’t die only that you might go to Heaven, but that here today Heaven may come upon you. For this is the Prayer of the Father that you might earnestly seek Heaven: His Kingdom come and His Will being done in your world just as it is in Heaven (Matt. 6:9-13). Go and seek the Face of Jesus, go hold onto the hem of His gown, even ‘wrestle’ with Him saying, “I will not let go until you bless me” (Gen. 32:26, Matt. 11:12 JUB). You are under the Covenant, therefore, stake claim to what of which the Covenant brings and has been purposed for you. You have Covenantal responsibilities towards God, and God has Covenantal responsibilities towards you, so once you recognise them, lay ownership over them. Earnestly seek His Face! Seek and long for the Presence of Jesus; the “Resurrection and the Life.Do not be satisfied to live a moment without Jesus’ Presence manifest, and tangible, upon your life. For your flesh and vision, what are they? Nothing! But the Spirit of God gifted you is the Treasure realised, and in Jesus of whom you are positioned with.

In the Resurrected Presence of your Lord and Saviour, let Him take you by your hand and change your heart. Let Him place new clothing upon you. Let Him seat you where He is and never depart. Let Him give you a place among these standing here in His Presence. It is Jesus of whom you meet with every day, in the Tent of Meetings, of whom trains you for warfare against all the schemes of the Enemy, and it He who equips you to be triumphant (Luke 4:18). You are partnering with and united in He who is Victorious!

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. (Acts

Come and make the daily decision to have the same Witness abiding in you as that of the Apostles of old; this is your Covenantal right. We, as the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ need the power, ie; the manifest Kingdom of God abiding in us, in order to be an effective ‘witness’ in our generation. How can we do the works that God requires, that He has intended and set out for each one of us to do? It cannot be done without the Love and Might of God abiding richly in us day by day.

Jesus died in order that I might have His Resurrected Life abiding in me.

The Lord works to prepare both you and I to be able to receive continually from Him. Preparing and building in you a greater capacity to behold His Glory. He is intent on fashioning and sharpening you so that you become a powerful ‘instrument’, that the words of your mouth do not fall to the ground but move mountains. To break down mighty strongholds and to loose the chains that keep people bound and afflicted. This is the purpose of the Anointing. It is the Father, of whom you bind your heart to, of who’s Love you are united in that achieves this.

Allow the Love of God upon you, let this be central to your life. Allow times of refreshing to come upon you, your family and your ministry; in the Love and Glory of God. For life, when it becomes intense, where are you refreshed? If you are centred on anything but the Love of God, where are you strengthened, refreshed and lifted up? By your success or achievements? As you battle the hordes of demons on the mission field, where are you strengthened and refreshed? As you lead ministry, where are you strengthened and refreshed? When all of life and what you hold dear is shaken and turned upside down, where are you strengthened and refresh? The Lord leads you to the manifest Love that comes from God, the deep ‘tap-root’ of the Love and Power of God that is central to the Gospel (Rev. 2:2-5).

This is the right footing, not ministry, not life’s issues, not apparent success, but the Love of God. As you “abide in my Love” and my living “words abide in you”, “ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” In this “my Father is glorified” (John 15:7-9). Regardless of what is happening in your life, good or bad, desire the Presence of Jesus. Be intent for the Person of Jesus upon your life. For He with you combats all that comes against, as you simply abide in His Counsel and Might. Even from right in the midst of things, prefer to bow down and seek the Face of Jesus (Dan. 6:10). For He is your Gift, “your Shield and exceedingly Great Reward.” He is not a piece of wood but the Glory of God. Even if things would fail before your eyes, prefer to seek the Presence and Face of Jesus. Press on all the more for a deepening tightness and tenderness in the Lord, for He who is with you is greater than he who is the world.

Be encouraged in this right footing: “now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” (1 Cor. 13:13). The Presence of Jesus brings a rich Faith and a deep rooted Hope and expectation. But the greatest Gift is the Love that is poured out liberally from our Father in you. All three of these Gifts bring life to your bones, youthfulness to your strides, air under your wings, fire in your eyes, and the Power of Life evermore. This is gifted you of the Spirit and not through the striving of your flesh or reasoning. Yes, there is our faith, our hope, and our love, but what the Gospel of Jesus is leading you to is His Faith, His Hope, and His Love being richly outpoured upon you each day. Truly our flesh profits us nothing at all, nor is it by our “might or strength, but by the Spirit says the Lord.” So let us look at this Scripture in this new light: as you seek the Presence of Jesus and earnestly wait upon the Lord, it is His Love, His Hope, and His Faith that begins to come upon you, as you are brought to your knees daily in the Presence of Jesus. The treasure in learning how to seek and wait on God is indefinable and uncontainable.

The truth is, that those who are “led by the Spirit of God are children of God” (Rom. 8:14).

Pray this prayer with me. ‘Lord, I wish never to leave the ministering Presence of the Lord, even as Joshua. Regardless of what’s going on in my life, I desire not to have a break of fellowship in the Counsel of God. Lord, please help me in this pursuit, this pursuit of the active Presence of God continually upon my life. To abide in the Counsel and Anointing of the Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen’.
